Preview Terms for Microsoft Server Operating Systems on Azure
Previews of Microsoft server operating systems for use on Azure made available on this site (“Previews”) are subject to the following general and additional terms. By clicking “Create”, you agree to these terms:
General Terms for Previews
1. You may use Previews only with a valid subscription for, and only as an operating system for virtualization on Microsoft Azure. Previews are for testing purposes only and not for use in production environments. Microsoft may terminate your right to use Previews at any time with or without notice.
2. Previews are provided “as-is” and you bear all risk of using them. Previews may not operate correctly and may be different from the commercially released version (if any). Microsoft accepts no liability for use of Previews.
3. If you give feedback about Previews to Microsoft, you give to Microsoft, without charge, the right to use, share and commercialize your feedback in any way and for any purpose. You will not give feedback that is subject to a license that requires Microsoft to license its software or documentation to third parties because Microsoft includes your feedback in them.
4. Previews may interact with other Microsoft products that collect data that is transmitted to Microsoft. To learn more about how Microsoft processes personal data we collect, please see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Additional Terms for Private Previews
Previews identified as private previews are made available to only a few invited users. Registration for the Windows Insider Program is not required for use of private previews. Private previews are confidential and proprietary to Microsoft and its suppliers. For five years after you start using a private preview or its commercial release, whichever is first, you may not disclose confidential information to third parties.
Additional Terms for Public Previews
To use Previews identified as public previews you must have registered for the Windows Insider Program. The Windows Insider Program Agreement applies to public previews, except that the general terms above apply in case of conflict.
